History:

Martyn qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1989 and became a partner in another local practice in 1991. One of the founding partners in Phipps Henson McAllister in 1993, Martyn has many years of experience in advising businesses of all sizes.

Current Specialities:

Advising owner-managed businesses on all types of accounting, taxation and commercial matters.

Corporate work, including acquisitions and disposals.

New business start-ups.

Audits for corporate clients, charities and non-profit organisations.

/Memberships:

Chairman of Northampton Golf Club Company Limited and past captain of Northampton Golf Club.

Chairman of Village Hall Management Committee and involved with other committees in home village.

Company secretary to several companies.

Life member of Northamptonshire County Cricket Club.

Outside Interests:

Most sports -particularly golf and cricket.

Travelling – Martyn’s wife Sue is a professional singer and when he has the opportunity he enjoys accompanying her on concert engagements in various European cities.

Walking- Martyn has tackled many of the UK’s long distance footpaths.

Family life- Martyn also has a 13 year old daughter Alex and a golden retriever Scooby.
