Phipps Henson McAllister names new Head of Audit to strengthen client services
Phipps Henson McAllister (PHM) has appointed Andy Greenhalgh as Head of Audit as the firm expands its client offering and responds to growing demand for assurance services.
Andy brings more than 20 years of audit and advisory experience across a diverse range of practices. This includes leading audits for SMEs and owner-managed businesses, and advising solicitor practices, which aligns closely with PHM’s diverse client base.
In his new role, Andy will lead PHM’s audit department, enhancing service quality and providing deeper insights to help clients make confident business decisions.
He is a Fellow of the ICAEW (FCA) and is highly commended for his commitment to clear communication, accuracy, efficiency and building strong, trusted relationships with clients.
Commenting on his appointment, Andy said, “I’m thrilled to be leading the audit team at PHM. My aim is to build on the strong foundations already in place, grow the audit department, and deliver even greater value and insight to our clients, helping them navigate their business decisions with confidence.”
The firm’s Managing Partner, Ross Phipps, explained why he believes Andy is a strong fit for the role.
“Andy’s extensive experience and hands-on approach make him the ideal choice to lead our audit team. He asks the right questions, gets to the heart of the issues and always delivers effective solutions,” said Ross.
“I am confident that under his leadership, our audit department will continue to grow and contribute to the wider success of the firm.”
